Outbound call hangs on Using SIP RTP CoS mark 5

Periodically on outbound calls I get a timeout on my phone “Call Failed.” Usually when I redial it goes through.

When this occurs I see “Using SIP RTP CoS mark 5” on the console at initiation of the call but then nothing else, then the phone gives “Call Failed”

Anyone know the potential cause for this?

The RTP class of service should be the same for all voice calls. I don’t think this is a variable in your problem.

(Class of service may be an issue if you have exceeded your budget, with the network, for a particular class of service.)

You need to provide a SIP trace for this to be debugged properly.
