Originate action and auto-answer

When I place a call from a SIP extension using the Originate action, the SIP client has to pick up before the call is actually placed.

In many cases (say a progressive dialer) I would want the call to be place without having the SIP client manually pick up first.

Can this be solved somehow?

A second, related question: Is it possible to pick up the call using the Manager API (can I instruct the SIP client to pick up from the Manager API)?
