Hi everyone,
I would like to share an open-source project I have been working on called AiPBX.
AiPBX is an enterprise-grade IP telephony platform designed to modernize PBX management while leveraging Asterisk 22 at its core. The primary goal is to provide a clean, modern interface and robust automation without compromising low-level control.
Key Highlights & Architecture
-
Core Engine: Built on Asterisk 22 with modern PJSIP architecture.
-
Backend & Services: Polyglot architecture combining Rust and Go for performance-critical components and telemetry, with PHP 8 powering backend services and web APIs.
-
Single-Port Multiplexing: Designed around ALPN stream multiplexing over a single port (443) for signaling, media, and management traffic, simplifying firewall and NAT traversal.
-
Modern Interface & WebRTC: Native WebRTC support out of the box with an intuitive, clean administrative UI.
-
100% Free & Open Source: Licensed under an open-source model for the community to inspect, test, and contribute.
