So I just installed an office of Cisco 7970’s running SIP firmware connected to an Elastix PBX. All of them work fine, except for 2 phones that just refuse to register. TFTP log shows them pulling the appropriate SEP.cnf.xml files and those files are close of known working xml files except for the lines establishing their extension, secret, etc.
The only difference I can spot with the two phones that won’t register is that they have a yellow background on settings menus. Other than that, they have the same firmware and load file.
I’ve checked and double checked the registration information. I’m pulling my hair out. What else could be stopping these phones from registering?
