Odd digit drop

Hi all

I have the following setup

Server A with only an IAX2 trunk dials out to PSTN using PRI on Server B

This works like a charm, so I can dial All extensions between sites over the IAX2 trunk and from both sites I can dial out to external numbers without issue

Here is my issue…

I then call a remote (PSTN Connected) asterisk box and hit its IVR

On the IVR, I go to reach extension 112 and the PBX is randomly dropping either one of the 1’s or the 2
SO, it comes back with that extension is not valid and in logs on the remote box it shows I tried to dial 11 or 12

If I dial 1112 (again, from an extension on Server A which is IAX2 trunked to Server B and then PSTN (PRI) to the remote server, it sometimes takes it as extension 112

I am running Asterisk 1.6.2.18

Thoughts?

James

All, I have found this issue happens if I dial the extension to fast…

If I slow it down, say, part of a second between digits, it works everytime.

is there a way to make Asterisk more sensitive on digit processing because I would find this type of an issue rather annoying for users and resulting in more support calls to me.

James

What is your setting for DTMF on the local phone and Asterisk nodes?
