Number sometimes getting truncated when sent to CO

Hi All,

I’m in the process of setting up a test Asterisk system for possible use in our business. I have setup the following context in extensions.conf:

[outbound-long-distance] exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,1,Dial(${OUTBOUNDTRUNK}/${EXTEN:1}) exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,n,Congestion() exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,102,Congestion()

When I dial a long distance number, 91… sometimes the call goes through, but more often than not, I get an automated message stating “We’re sorry, you must first dial a 1 when calling this number. Will you please hang up and try again.” In the Asterisk console, it seems to be sending the whole number to the CO, so I’m not sure what the issue is (I put the ‘N’ in there):

Connected to Asterisk 1.2.13 currently running on asterisk (pid = 17082) Verbosity is at least 3 -- Executing Dial("SIP/364-0a0a2ba8", "Zap/3/1831682NNNN") in new stack -- Called 3/1831682NNNN -- Zap/3-1 answered SIP/364-0a0a2ba8 -- Hungup 'Zap/3-1' == Spawn extension (internal, 91831682NNNN, 1) exited non-zero on 'SIP/364-0a0a2ba8' asterisk*CLI>

Any ideas?

It sdialing too quick add a w at the begining of the dial string.

Awesome, that resolved my issue, thanks!
