We have calls forwarding to mobiles from desk phones. If you call from external and go through our menu, then select an option for someone who has a divert, the caller hears no ringing when the call is being diverted and assumes the call is dead and hangs up.
Is there anyway to make the call ring in the ear at the caller’s end whilst the divert from desk to mobile takes place?
Strangely this only happens for external callers. If I call our main number internally and select the menu option to take me to a user I know is not in, it constantly rings in my ear until they pick up.
Any help would be appreciated.
