I’m having a little difficulty extending the number of incoming calls to my system. My service comes with 2 incoming channels. So to increase the number of calls I can receive do I simply have to buy more lines, or more channels? Is there a way to add another line and then open those channels to receive calls from the main number?
if you’re referring to an ITSP and having a limit of 2 concurrent lines, then yes, you need to contact them and see about increasing the number of concurrent lines you can use.
if your ITSP is using asterisk, then you’d simply need to have them increase your call-limit setting (or that is how i would do it…)
