Monitoring queues

Hi guys,

Im playing around with an asterisk/freepbx set up and i want to get more monitoring for call queues. The scenario is a call center and i want to be able to automatically receive an email(or call, sms etc) when 5 calls are queued.

One thing i was looking at is this: voip-info.org/wiki/view/Aste … Time+Queue

in the above link the MySQL table shows a column called “queue_callswaiting VARCHAR(128)” im thinking of putting in a trigger into the database to kick off when that column=5 but im hoping for a simpler solution with Asterisks(or if theres a function that i missed on freepbx)
