Monitor and cdr pairing

Hello,

I am using CDR for call records and Monitor for (lawful) monitoring of call center. I would like to ask, if there is a way to pair CDR with Monitor. The time of call recorded to CDR database is different than time recorded to monitor. Is there a way to assign a call some unique id, so I can pair mp3 saved with the cdr record?

see the Asterisk Recording Interface (ARI) - i believe it uses the unique callID variable to track the CDR record and the associated recorded call file.
