Module Embedding

Hello,
when installing Asterisk 1.4 with
#> make menuselect
option 11 is Module Embedding.

I´m a bit confused with that, so I would like to know the effect of that selection:

  1. Does Asterisk work faster (more efficiently) when embedding modules??
  2. I suppose that the apps, cdr… deselected previously won´t be embbeded.
  3. If you embed a function such as MoH, then how do you reload it without restarting Asterisk?? i mean, is CLI> reload res_moh available??
