MixMonitor - Understanding about operation

I’m researching on MixMonitor and would like to know if anyone has a material that explains how it works.

How does the system record the call? It uses what kind of resource (a database, writes in real time in the file …)

I’m very curious, but I can only find explanations on how to use the function.

It uses a normal file, via the normal, stdio, fle buffering code. Meta data is not written until it is closed.
