Low sound level

Hi,

I’m going to install an IP telephony system with an asterisk server, connected on Patton bridge, they even connected on Business Livebox Orange (it’s a IP solution provide by Orange, a french internet and telephony provider).
I’ve got a problem, the sound level is very low in reception, whether with a hardphone (snom) or a softphone (xlite), the sound quality is poor because of this.
How can I raise the sound level?

For IP there is not much that you can. You can try speaking to your carrier. The only other option is to get it on one box send it to a second one via hardware (such as a TDM card) and then on the second box you can bump it up via zapata.conf
