Junghanns QuadBri with FC3 Kernel 2.6 installation problem

Hi,

I have a Junghanns QuadBri card but I have problems with the installation.
The system collapses when I launch the driver to the order ‘insmod qozap.ko’.
The lights on the card ignite nevertheless in red.
I use a Fedora Core 3 and a Kernel 2.6.12.
I run the following commands with bri-stuff-0.2.0-RC8n:

cd qozap
modprobe zaptel
insmod qozap.ko

Can somebody help me? Is somebody already had this problem?

Hi,

I encountered the exact same problem, with the server hung after the ‘insmod qozap.ko’.

I’m still not 100% sure what is responsible for this however I noticed that it depended on the kernel version (more or less).

It failed when the server was installed in (Fedora Core 3) 2.6.11-1.35_FC3 (after a yum update), and worked when it was in 2.6.9-1.667.

I’m still waiting for some information from Junghanns…
