IVR and Caller ID

We have an Avaya IP office setup as IVR extentsions(analog) to our asterisk IVR. The caller ID is not passing from the phone system to the IVR. I have a caller type setting and it has DTMF A, DTMF B, ON, OFF, and some others. I have tried the ON setting but none of the others. I have to reboot the phone system everytime i change this setting on these ports so it isnt easy testing. Any ideas on the correct one?
