I recently inherited the responsibilities of our asterisk server. We just signed up for broad voice, and I am able to have some of the phone system items work, but not all.
For example, I can call from inside and hit an outside line, however, the outside caller cannot be heard from any phone connected to the asterisk server.
Additionally, whenever I attempt to call a local extension, it will not properly route and I am given a fast busy signal. It doesn’t seem to be a firewall issue as I can additionally call in, however, when you call in, and transfer to a phone, it immediately goes into voice mail.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need snippets of the configuration files I have and I will be sure to post them.
