ISDN BRI (hunting) in Canada?

Hi:

I heard ISDN PRI can be used as call hunting but it is an expensive solution. I would like to see if it is possible to have ISDN BRI for call hunting with Asterisk.

The idea is to apply one telephone line connecting with ISDN BRI card. If the line is used, the call will be directly to the second channel of BRI.

My question is if this is possible? And if anyone has such experience in Canada? And if there is any alternative?

How many phone calls do you make and receive on average? a BRI/PRI is alot…If you simply need two or three lines, you can ask the provider of the line to create a hunt group, which would do the rollover you wish.
