I think echo cancellation and choppy sound is the major problems of VoIP;maybe the only ones…
Is choppy sound and echo caused by the network in some way?
I’ve read that echo is provoked by PSTN line, but behaves like a VoIP problem and choppy sound is caused by low bandwidth.
Surely there is a way to measure these to acceptable or not using out ear, but there may be another way to measure it like a debug CLI or something else.
Is CLI “show peers” shows a way to inform us about echo or choppy? (column status = ms away)
