Hi, is there is way to connect Asterisk with external electrical Hardware ?
I’d like to interconnect PLCs, relais or similar items (domestic alarms, etc), throug the PC parallel or serial bus.
Serial Modbus support would be fine for connecting programmable relais or PLC. Modbus is a reliable and freely available protocol used for interconnecting in the industrial and domestic area.
The primary goal would be to use the GXP-2000 BLF system to commands and monitor those external components.
Then it would be possible to monitor the house equipement with a GXP2000 connected somewhere on the Internet,or to send email from Asterisk trigered from those BLF monitoring.
