you are going to have to be much more specific than that.
If you mean does * work with SIMPLE (IM over SIP) then no as far as I know it doesn’t support SIMPLE.
It can interoperate with Jabber to some degree (new functionality) but AFAIK it doesn’t have any IM paths… I could very well be wrong on that though.
Actually what I need is, when I punch the number from the phone pad, the other party can receive the number I send. I think this message should be something like:
Message Sip:abc@def.com
…
…
…
Do you think * can pass this type of message to the other party? If yes, what the format should the message take?
Another question? May I get the other party’s IP by *?
