Installation / Network issue

I’ve got asterisk and asterisk-gui installed and running on a Fedora Core 4 system.

I’ve got some sort of network problem, and it’s driving me crazy.

I can run asterisk and asterisk-gui on the FC system.
I can connect to asterisk-gui with Firefox running on the FC system.
I can run Firefox and I have internet connectivity from the FC system.

I can’t connect to asterisk-gui from another system on my network.
I can ping the FC system from other systems on my network.

I also can’t get either an IP phone or a softphone to connect to the FC system using the IP address. The phone connections seem to timeout. X-Lite generates a “Registration Error: 408 - Timeout error”

I assume that this is some network configuration or asterisk configuration issues. But … I’m pulling my hair out at this point. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I’m not seeing or where I might look?

I sure would appreciate some ideas …

Addendum. I started up Apache on the FC system and can see it with Firefox running on the FC system. I can’t connect to Apache on the FC system from another computer on the network. So … I guess I’ve got some incoming network problem.

Still searching for help or suggestions, though … :frowning:
