Installation error when installing Asterisk Now

The error message I am getting is CRITICAL SYSTEM ERROR; Unable to generate MOTD, the /usr/sbin/fwconsole file is not able not accessible. I am using a USB drive to load the software, and I used the same thumb drive on two different computers and I get the same error.

This is an issue must be addressed on the FreePBX forum , but here you got some advices of someone who managed to fix that error

  1. Don’t even try using UEFI. Turn it off, force the BIOS into legacy mode. Linuxen still prefer yesterday’s hardware.

  2. Don’t even try installing off of a USB stick. Burn a DVD. Even the SNG7 distro doesn’t really like USB.
