Install without Quees, voicemail, email etc

Hello,

Is it possible to install Asterisk without directory, queues, voicemail, and email etc etc…? Just for outbound calls…

Kind regards,

AL

Sure,
the dial plan (extensions.conf and/or extensions.ael) is the location where every service (queue, voicemail and so on) must be “enabled” (assigned an extension) to be usable, so you have to configure the dial plan to manage just outbound calls and you’re done.

Cheers.

I suspect the question is a about a GUI packaging of Asterisk, rather than pure Asterisk, but the GUI hasn’t been identified.

If you work with pure Asterisk, as already said, simply not enabling the features is enough. You can also deselect most of them, with menuselect, when you build from source, and simply omitting the relevant configuration file or deleting the module, should also disable them.

Hello,

I tried DEL in the configuration files but the GUI did not like it. How can dissable this option on the GUI?

Regads,

Al

Which GUI?

Hi,

Asterisk GUI-version : SVN-branch-2.0-r4991
