Install Asterisk error

When I install Asterisknow1.7.1-32.iso by CD rom, I occurred the problem show as below.

The screen show:
Error
An error occurred trying to format VOLGroup00/LogVOLoo. This problem is serious and install cannet continue.

Can you help for what is solve the problem.

The initial presumption for that error message would be that you need to replace your faulty disk, but more details of the error may indicate a configuration problem.
