Info about troubòe with NAT

Hi to all.

I am Valerio, and this is my first post. I am novice using asterisk.

I have this situation: I am using Motorola Canopy wireless antennas to deploy internet connection, but it implements a symmetric NAT which make not operating STUN protocol, then I can’t configure my ATA to connect directly to a public proxy server for authentication and calling.

I think that one of solution should be to install asterisk in my lan to redirect registering and calls to the public proxy.

Can someone confirm if is it possible, and can suggest me a configuration scenario?
My goal should be making calls without open any port in firewall.

If STUN doesn’t work and you can’t open/redirect the needed firewall ports I think there is nothing to do.

I need to explain better:

I have many ATA that sould connect to an Arterisk server in the same private network; the server, that will be able to use stun and to use any port, should be set to permit that the call from ATA will be served from a public proxy (voipstunt.com, for exsample).
