Incoming caller display

Hello all

We have recently got caller line id (CLI) on our telephone line. Can somebody please point me in the right direction on how to get our phone handsets (snom 300) to display the incoming number when a call arrives.

What country are you in? Which PSTN operator? What type of line cards?

Which version of Asterisk? Which version of dahdi?

Basically: configure the dahdi channels for the CLI signalling used by the network and remove any dialplan code,
etc., that overrides the CLI.
