Strangly my iax trunk wont register with an interface card alias IP, is this a known issue?
It registers fine with the interface card normal IP but not alias Ips

Hi,
I have noticed this, bUt not realy been an issue as all I do is send the call out and get the incoming sent to the alias IP address dont need to register,
I have also seen this with SIP as well.

ahh okay…
strangly i’ve noticed that the machine with the alias interface isn’t even sending out registration requests, or hearing any on that interface… however i can ping that alias interface remotly just fine so has to be an IAX thing, any suggestions?
