How to handle FAS (Fake Answer supervision.)

Hi all,

I’m using asterisk only with SIP trunk for my small business company.

I try a lot of a-z termination provider but I found out a common problem: some time when I try to place mobile call all go “on the air”; dial status is “ANSWER” but the destination phone don’t rings at all but the cost of the call is billed to me.

How can I handle this ? Monitoring RTR packets traffic ? Channel status monitoring ? Black magic ? All the advice are welcome.

Some one have solved this problem ?
