[HELP] Problem for registration to a SIP provider

I’m registred to a SIP provider. In the sip.conf file I write the code for the registration:

register => user:password@voip.eutelia.it/2500

When I login with my extension 2500 I have this error in the asterisk log file:

Got SIP response 479 “Please don’t use private IP addresses” back from 195.62.225.244

In fact my asterisk server is behind a NAT. How can I resove this problem?

If I connect to the SIP provider directly from a software phone I don’t have any problem, also if I’m behind a NAT.[/code]

Try using nat=yes for your account and add externip to the general section of your sip.conf.

Thanks, anyway I’ve change whit a IAX provider and all is more simple.
