Help - how can I send user data between 2 SIP clients

Hi,

I am trying to use SIP INFO to send some user data between 2 SIP clients with Asterisk.

I used text/plain as the MIME type and somehow Asterisk doesn’t recognize it. Does someone know how to extend Asterisk to recognize it.

In case SIP INFO is not a solution to send user data, can someone point me a solution to send user data between 2 SIP clients.

Please provide more information. Are you trying to accomplish something related to SIP? Or are you trying to pass information for other purposes.
