Hardware or network problem?

Hi,

I have a P3 1GHz 256Mb RAM running on a cable connection with 256Mb uplink speed.

When I run a 5 person meetme conference, the sound breaks up. Less than 5 and all is crystal clear.

Would you expect this is a hardware or bandwidth problem?

All participants are in different parts of the country using AT-320 handsets with IAX2 firmware and using GSM codec.

bandwidth for sure. make sure your dsl has a QoS control on it- quality of service to give voip higher priority. Most routers have this.

Also run a speed test to make sure you actually have 256k of speed…
