Hardware for sending SMS from webserver

Hello,

We want to allow users of our site to send free sms. What hardware do we need for this?

Data:

  • The number of gms networks: 4
  • SMS/day: 10000

You don’t necessarily need any hardware beyond that needed for connectivity to the internet. In fact, the peak load associated with 10000 a day may well be too much for a GSM modem, or the use of a landline SMS service. The fine details will depend on your country.

You do realise that, whilst they may be free to your subscribers, you will be charged for sending them?
