Hi
My boss called me asking if it’s possible for Asterisk to accept inbound calls from old telemetry systems that use modems to establish a connection and send telemetry data.
I have no experience with anything like this as everything we do uses SIP.
I’m thinking that we would need some kind of hardware on which to receive the calls, maybe FXO cards or ISDN. As for handling the telemetry data I have no idea.
Anyone have any experience in this area?
