Had to reset Root PW (Grub) and now have MySQL error

Hey all,
had a lost root PS (CLI) and preformed a reset via Grub single user mode.
Now at boot i’m getting:

SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock’ (111)::SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock’ (111)

Did I cook a token or something during the reset? Best way to fix this?

thanks

Is mysql even running… Did you use the root password for you mysql connection… if so guess you have to change the password of the mysql root user too.

But this is really a mysql/linux question… not an Asterisk question.
