We are working on an intrusion monitor module for Asterisk. Intercepts bad logins and firewalls them within seconds. We are in need of beta testers. Is this the right place for this?
If your module is open source, yes. If commercial, a ‘biz’ list would be more appropriate.
You’d be up against the market leader, fail2ban, which is open source.
We haven’t yet decided how we are going to market this, but we need to test it to see if it really does what we think it does in the real world. We are aware of fail2ban, which runs of the logs. This is entirely different approach.
Is your approach better than watching manager security logs ? Thats a real time programmable firewall that s so easy to setup. So whats new about your approach ?
