GSM Codec in Asterisk: which one exactly is it?

Hi,

Does anyone know which is the exact GSM codec that Asterisk uses? Does it use several? I can think of these options:

Full Rate
Enhanced Full Rate
Half Rate
AMR X.X (where X.X is some number)

According to the asterisk sourcecode documentation its the GSM codec from Jutta Degener, TU Berlin/Germany (GSM 06.10 RPELTP).

So it “should” be half rate.

Thanks for your reply, you solved the issue! There is a slight discrepancy though, the GSM 6.10 codec is the Full Rate one.
