G.729 not present in SDP

I have the following section included everywhere - in sip.conf and in users.conf for both my SIP-phone and provider’s trunk:

disallow = all
allow = alaw
allow = ulaw
allow = g729

G.729 is enabled in my SIP-phone, of course.

The problem that I see only G.711 in my SDP offer when I’m making an outgoing call to my provider:
m=audio 18094 RTP/AVP 8 0

What’s wrong? How can I use G.729 passthrough?

Have you figured out the problem you are having?
I upgraded to 1.4 and am having a similar problem.
Gateways will send in requests with g729, but seems
like it gets stripped out when it’s sent to the phones.
