Hello All,

I am running Asterisk 1.8.7, why FWT 's caller id (FSK signal) does not captured? …

Could anybody please help?

Thanks a lot in advance

Regards

What channel type and sub-type? What caller-id detection settings do you have? Who are FWT? How do they signal start of caller-id? Have you listened on the line?

Hello David,

Thank you for your response .
FWT, I meant is FWT GSM Gateway…

I still don’t understand FWT.

Can you confirm that the gateway provides an analogue interface, acting as the foreign exchange end, with callerid after the first ring using Bell 202 tones?

You may need to take this up with FWT.

Hello,

FWT (Fixed Wireless Terminal) GSM, mine has 4 analogue ports.
BTW,
according to the Caller Id functionality, what do you think about my chan_dahdi.conf ?.. is it OK?

I Need advice

Thanks

I’m really a SIP person, but it looks OK, given that the gateway acts in the way I described.

You probably need to enable chan_dahdi or even dahdi kernel driver debugging, to make sure that the ring is being detected and that the modem signals are being detected. You should also bridge the wire with a telephone test set and make sure the modem tones are really present.
