I was attempting to set up a FAX machine this weekend and couldn’t make it ring via an ATA. After much frustration, I found setting the “Ring Waveform” value to Trapezoid solved my problem.
The PAP2T-NA comes defaulted to Sinusoid. Our Brother Intellifax 2800 wouldn’t respond to a ring until I set it as described above.
