G’day all,

I have an issue,

Site ONE is a Asterisk 1.4.21.2 box on a 192.168.6.x IP address with IAX2 to site two via a WRT-54GL router with DD-WRT.

Site TWO is a Asterisk 1.4.21.2 box on a 192.168.4.x IP address with IAX2 to site one via a OPEN Networks i625W.

Asterisk <-> WRT-54GL <-> Internet <-> OPEN i625W <-> Asterisk
^^^^ - IAX2 <------------------------------------------> IAx2 - ^^^^

After a public IP change at site TWO, i can not dial from site two back to site one but i can dial from site one to site two.

If i restart / reboot the i625W at site two everything is fine and can dial both ways.

Any ideas?

What errors show up ? Define can not dial. Any changes to your routers ?

To follow this up!

Nothing fixed this broken IAX2 trunk… not rebooting or restarting Asterisk or the WRT54GL running OpenWRT 8.09… Only a reboot of the open network’s i625W router would bring it back to life!

The router (lastest Firmware R10-43) runs an old linux 2.4.17 kernel

When replaced with a THOMSON ST5x6v6, things just worked
