Fax Reception Issue: Only One Page Received from 8-Page Fax via Twilio SIP Trunk to Asterisk

Some pages are missing while receiving an incoming fax through Asterisk Fax and SpanDSP. I sent an 8-page fax to a Twilio number that is pointed to a SIP trunk connected to our Asterisk server, but only one page was received.

Here are the channel variables that I logged

  1. Hangup Cause: 16
  2. FAX Status: FAILED
  3. FAX Error: Unexpected DCN while waiting for DCS or DIS
  4. FAX Pages Received: 1
  5. FAX Bitrate: 12000
  6. FAX Resolution: 8031x3850
  7. FAX ECM: Yes
  8. FAX Min Rate: 4800
  9. FAX Max Rate: 14400
  10. FAX Modem: V17, V27, V29
  11. FAX Gateway: No
  12. FAX Rate: 12000
  13. FAX T38 Timeout: 5000
  14. FAX Negotiate Both: Yes
