# Fax not detected

Incoming fax isn’t detected. I know it isn’t a firewall problem since fax worked on the previous installation of Asterisk. I loaded the modules res\_fax.so and res\_fax\_spandsp.so.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Had to change _ **t38pt\_udptno = no** _ and all works well.
