(Okay, stupid noob question; hard to find info on bcs “directory” hits pretty much every post in the forum, but for the wrong reason!)
I’m trying to provide an Extension Directory listing for callers (call by name – whatever, simplest model is fine). I have “In Directory” checked for all users, and I added “GoTo Directory” to the VoiceMenu stack (I’m using the asterisk GUI), but it doesn’t seem to do anything when I call. I was expecting a nav bar entry in the GUI for ‘directory’, or any other mention of the directory someplace – I had to figure out the above by guesswork.
I’m clearly missing some basic conceptual understanding of how to setup and use an Extension Directory. Can someone point me to the appropriate Doc or other guidance on how to set up an Extension Directory.
