Excessive power alarm messages on FXS ports

Hello guys,

I have a TDM2400 card and I noticed that the FXS modules are experiencing a lt of power alarm warnings. My users are reporting several dropped calls and I want to check this has anything to do with it (since it seems that the FXS modules reset themselves after the power alarm).

Here are the specs of the server:

Motherboard: Intel SE7230NH1
Processor: Intel Pendtium 4 D 3.2GHz
RAM: 2GB
HD: 80GB EIDE

Here are the latest alarm messages:
Power alarm on module 3, resetting!
Power alarm on module 2, resetting!
Power alarm on module 3, resetting!
Power alarm on module 3, resetting!
Power alarm on module 3, resetting!
Power alarm on module 9, resetting!
Power alarm on module 9, resetting!
Power alarm on module 3, resetting!
Power alarm on module 4, resetting!
Power alarm on module 3, resetting!
Power alarm on module 3, resetting!
Power alarm on module 3, resetting!
Power alarm on module 4, resetting!
Power alarm on module 4, resetting!
Power alarm on module 3, resetting!

So basically mdoules 1 to 12 are resetting multiple times.

The TDM configuration is TDM2433E
Ports 1 to 12 are all FXS cards while the remaining are FXOs.

Did you ever find a resolution for this? I’m experiencing the exact same symptoms.

Also, digium email support seems to be down. I haven’t received an autoreply to my 2 last messages from 36 hours ago.

We released Zaptel 1.2.21 and 1.4.6 which, in some user testing, have shown to resolve the power alarm problem those users were experiencing. Please give the new release a try and let us know your results so that we can assist you if your problem isn’t resolved.
