Error when trying to install/compile on a Linksys NSLU2

im am getting an error when trying to install/compile on a Linksys NSLU2 running Debian.

I am getting the following error:

src/add.c:1: error: bad value (armv5tel) for -march= switch
Assembler messages:
Error: unknown architecture `armv5tel’

Error: unrecognized option -march=armv5tel
make[2]: *** [src/add.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [gsm/lib/libgsm.a] Error 2
make: *** [codecs] Error 2

Can anybody help me with solving this?

Thanks in advance.

May be you need to install GSM libraries.
Or just remove GSM codes etc.

But what about this error?

"Error: unknown architecture `armv5tel’ "

I did couple of projects based on Cirrus Arm 9302 (9302A) architecture.
There is include subdir. And in that include, there are lot of similar subdirs like: asm-i386, asm-mips, asm-arm
For me - unknown architecture means unknown architecture - missing subdir. But why - I have no idea - it could be problem in configure files, make files, buildroot, missing file or something else.
