Hi I am using Asterisk 1.2.11 and trying to send the CallerID using the below comamnd in “extensions.conf”. exten =\> \_00.,1,Set(CALLERID(number)=xxxx#) exten =\> \_00.,2,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN:}@SS-ONLY,30) Where callerID is xxxx# that means few digits ends with #. When I dial a no. that start with 00, I get the below error and I believe callerID is NOT sent properly. Can you please let me know why I get the below CallerID error? – Executing Set(“SIP/100-09991ae0”, “CALLERID(number)=xxxx#”) in new stack 2006-09-25 23:46:31 ERROR[2135]: pbx.c:1418 ast\_func\_write: Function CALLERID no t registered ---

according to [voip-info.org/wiki/index.php … c+callerid](http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?page=Asterisk+func+callerid) The callerid number accepts digits only so you need to remove the # or use callerid name. ---

Hi, I tried all the below options but it is strange that I get the below; RHLES4_CLI\> show function CALLERID No function by that name registered. RHLES4_CLI\> What could be the reason for this? ## RHLES4\*CLI\> show functions Installed Custom Functions: CHECKSIPDOMAIN CHECKSIPDOMAIN(\) Checks if domain is a local domain SIPCHANINFO SIPCHANINFO(item) Gets the specified SIP parameter from the current channel SIPPEER SIPPEER([:item]) Gets SIP peer information SIP\_HEADER SIP\_HEADER() Gets the specified SIP header 4 custom functions installed. Hi I could fix this after adding the below in “modules.conf”. load=func\_callerid.so Also I get the provider to remove the # so that I could use the below; \_00.,1,Set(CALLERID(number)=xxxxx)
