Display new destination number after redirect, possible?

Hello all,

Could anybody tell me if this is possible?

  • I call from 200 to 100
  • asterisk redirects me to 101 in 15 seconds
  • I can see number 101 on my phone and not 100 as it is now

Best regards,
Stanislav

This is possible, if Asterisk is doing the redirection (in the DialPlan) and not the phone.

Use the CallerID(num) function to set the CallerID before you dial the 101 extension.

I am not sure why you want to have the same CallerID and CalledID, but it’s not my place to doubt your wishes :smile:

I found an answer here: voip-info.org/wiki/view/Aste … NECTEDLINE
The following works for me.

sip.conf:

... sendrpid=yes ...
extenstions.conf:

...
same => n,Set(CONNECTEDLINE(name)=${SIPPEER(${ARG1},callerid_name)})
same => n,Set(CONNECTEDLINE(num)=${ARG1})
...

where ${ARG1} is a destination number
