Hi,

This may sound like an odd one, but we are using Asterisk with FreePBX 2.8 on Centos 5.5 using SIP trunks only and have a requirement where we need to disable DTMF on certain users extensions and voicemail.

We have gone through most of the config files but cannot find a way to do this, I thought it might have been simple but it appears not.

Is there a simple way of doing this or will I need to recode something? At least we would like to disable the ability to use the pound key ‘#’ in voicemail as it affects another bit of software on our phones.

Hope you can help, if there is anything else you need let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Paul

Nobody got any ideas on this one? It’s really bugging me and I have gone google eye’d searching through all the code.
