Digium Addons 2.11.0.4 on Ubuntu?

Is there a way to install (and use) Digium Addons 2.11.0.4 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?

I’m running Asterisk 11.7.0 and freePBX on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (on a Via Epia MII-10000 motherboard), and would like to be able to use the fax functions.
However whenever I try to run that module it keeps complaining that “This Module Requires The Digium RPM to be installed (php-digium_register-3.0.5-1_centos6.i686.rpm)” which is kinda hard on an Debian/Ubuntu system?

Is there any solution for this issue?

Howdy,

We don’t provide one.

It merely handles registration of the commercial add ons that you’d otherwise be doing via the CLI. So it’s of little help, really.

You can perform its duties by shelling in, downloading the register utility from downloads.digium.com and running it manually.
