Digium 1TE220BF suitable for fax?

Hi Guys,

Just wanting to double check if the Digium 2 port E1 card with echo cancellation is suitable for a system primarily designed to handle fax ?

What are you doing with those faxes?

Hi Malcolm,

Basic fax 2 email - the tiff file will be emailed on to the user.

There’s nothing about the TE220 that makes it a bad choice for terminating calls that are audio calls, or fax calls. If you do run into any issues, the fax tuning knob is the faxbuffers option in chan_dahdi.conf.
